We take seriously the command of our Lord in Acts 1:8 where He said,

“You shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and to the ends of the earth.”

We’re excited about all the opportunities God will give us in the future to join Him in His great work of sharing the gospel with a lost world both through our giving and our going.

Our heart and vision is to meet the needs, both physically and spiritually, of those around us and beyond, to see our church building open to the community and alive with outreach events.

Mission

Hither Green Baptist Church is a church that believes in mission.  We give a percentage of our offerings to cooperative mission efforts.  But HGBCHURCH doesn’t just believe in GIVING to missions — we believe in DOING missions.

Every year, we take a team of church members to a community in Razgrad, Bulgaria.  This year we will also take a team to South Africa to work with the people in Venda.
