We take the responsibility of caring for those who are part of our community seriously.  The Pastoral Care Team of Hither Green Baptist Church exists to provide care and support during the various seasons of life through providing:

Biblical Guidance
Counselling and help through Biblical guidance.

Premarital Counselling
Premarital sessions designed to enhance, strengthen and prepare a couple for marriage.

Weddings
Upon completion of our Premarital Counselling Sessions, our pastor can be available to officiate the wedding ceremony.

Hospital Visitation
Our team members are trained to provide prayer and support during times of hospitalisation.

Bereavement                                                                                            
Our team members will stand with you through difficult times of loss.

Pastoral Care Team

The Life Groups are the primary means of delivering pastoral care and the Pastoral Care Team’s main job is to ensure that this works and that those not in a group receive the care they need.

The Pastoral Care Team are also able to refer people to a range of other agencies including various forms of Christian counselling.

We have a particular concern for those who are newcomers to the church and a separate team seek to offer them the relevant help that they might need.
