Hither Green Baptist Church

The Welcome Team Rota for May - July 2006 is now online. The team plays a vital role in helping our Sunday morning services (10:30am every week) run smoothly, providing help and assistance as required and ensuring that everyone is greeted with a friendly welcome.

We're being very organised and have drawn up a preaching plan that takes us up until Christmas. We're also taking advantage of the latest developments in web technology and have put that on Google Calendar. If you subscribe to that service, you can find the calendar and add it to you customised diary by searching for "preaching plan". You can also use the following two buttons to access the information for a range of calendar applications.

There have also been a couple of updates to our church diary; that's not on Google calendar yet although it may only be a matter of time!

A new Worship Group Rota is available online, taking us up to the end of July.

Worship is an important part of our church life together. Pictured are The Little Angels singing group, although most of our Worship Team members are a bit older! We normally start our Sunday services with about half an hour of worship, led by a band including bass, drums and guitar and using mainly contemporary songs (although with a few classic hymns from time to time).

It's important to us not just because we enjoy music but also because we're using that time to bring ourselves before God. If you want to join us, we kick off at 10:30 every Sunday morning.
